About the Program

The Multiple Myeloma & Transplant Program at St. Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center (SVCCC) is one of the leading programs in the United States for the diagnosis and treatment of multiple myeloma. Our patients travel from across the country and around the world to work with the myeloma experts at SVCCC.

The Center's interdisciplinary team of hematology-oncologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other support staff specializes in the treatment of patients with myeloma. They also treat related diseases, including MGUS, solitary plasmacytoma, AL amyloidosis, Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia, leukemia and lymphoma. Together, the myeloma team provides patients with clinical expertise, compassionate care and ongoing support.

Once your medical team determines your diagnosis, they will design a treatment plan to meet your individual needs and work with you to help you understand your plan. The team will also help schedule your treatments and any other tests you may need. For your convenience, the treatment unit is on site and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
