SVCCC becomes the only accredited center in New York City.

Effective May 5, 2005, the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) certifies that Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers and St. Vincent’s Comprehensive Cancer Center have met the requirements of the Foundation and has granted accreditation for Autologous (patient’s own blood stem cells are obtained and used for infusion) Stem Cell Transplantation, including collection and processing of stem cells.
