Michael P. Fanucchi, MD, medical director, and Sundar Jagannath, MD, chief of the Multiple Myeloma and Transplant Program, SVCCC, will co-present at the February 22-23, 2008, Sixth International Symposium on Evolution of Supportive Care in Oncology: The Era of Targeted Agents, held in New York City. Their topic will be Management of Adverse Events with Proteosome Inhibitors.

The annual meeting focuses on supportive treatments to manage unique class effect toxicities of novel biologic agents that are currently being incorporated in the treatment regimens of malignancies and discusses chemotherapy-induced conditions. The format of the symposium includes didactic lectures, debates on optimal therapeutic approaches, and interactive case-based discussions, question and answer sessions.
